How To Find Device Code Name Easily - Very Useful For Custom ROMs

For installing custom ROM on your device, you need to know the device code name of your device. On Download Page of custom ROMs, you can see many files and code names and you got confused that what file you need to download. Because If you download the wrong file and flash it in your phone, your device might brick (Soft Brick or Hard Brick - I will tell in a future post what it is). So the problem is how to find code name of your device.

So I will tell you how to find code name of your device

Method 1: Pixel Experience ROM Download Page

Go to Pixel Experience Download Page: https://download.pixelexperience.org/

The page will look like this

Type your device name in Type your device… search bar

When you type your device name it will give you suggestion. Select your device name. You can see your device code name right after the device name. This is how you get your device code name.

Method 2: Lineage OS Devices

Go to Lineage Devices Page: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/

The page will look like this

Type your device name in top right corner search box.

You can see the code name after the device name

Method 3: TWRP Devices Page

Go to TWRP Device Page: https://twrp.me/Devices/

The page will look like this

Search your device name in search box.

It will suggest your device name and right after device name you can see your device code name
